Social 7s is Softball Australia’s slowpitch version of softball that is fast, fun and easy to play

• 10 week social softball format
• Accessible for all ability levels from beginniers to experienced
• Mixed gender teams
• Set in a relaxed, social, fun and friendly atmosphere
• All equipment provided

• Teams only require seven players
• Every player bats each inning
• Ball is pitched slower, leading to more hits and fielding
• High scoring – every base gained is a run
• A new pitcher each inning
• A Strike Zone Mat is used – if the pitch lands on the mat, it is a strike

Cost: Senior - $82.00 (includes $10 event fee to cover expenses such as lights and a game coordinator) , Junior $63.00 (includes $10 event fee to cover expenses such as lights and a game coordinator)

A minimum of 4 teams will make up the competition and play a 1 hour game of Social 7s each week. Scores will be recorded each week and a ladder published on the Softball Victoria website. Finals will be held in the last round which will include a Semi Final and a Grand Final. 

All Equipment will be provided, participants only need to bring a water bottle each week and wear comfortable sporting attire and sports shoes.

1. If you are new to softball and have not registered before click on "NEW MEMBER" 

2. If you have been registered with Softball before and know your Softball ID select "RETURNING MEMBER” 

Then, put in your details and select Next Step.

• Choose the membership type that reflects the program you are signing up for (2024 Point Cook Social 7s Competition).
