home run heroes t-ball & softball programs
Looking for a fun and active way for your child to get involved in Softball?
Home Run Heroes is a fun, inclusive introduction to T-Ball and Softball, designed to help children learn the game in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Through engaging skill-based activities, challenges and modified games, participants will develop the fundamentals of throwing, catching, batting and fielding while building confidence, making new friends and having plenty of fun along the way.
Programs are suitable for beginners and children with limited Softball experience, with qualified coaches helping participants learn at their own pace. Home Run Heroes is also a great pathway into local T-Ball and junior Softball programs.

U21 MEN'S FASTPITCH CLASSIC
Exciting 9-week competition — including finals — is proudly hosted by the Sunshine Softball Association, More Park, Ardeer. Get ready for fast-paced action under lights, rising talent, and individual cash prizes up for grabs!
15 & UNDER JUNIOR FASTPITCH CLASSIC
The 15 & Under Junior Fastpitch Classic showcases the next generation of softball stars with a 9-week season including finals, proudly hosted by the Sunshine Softball Association, More Park, Ardeer. Open to all juniors 14 and Under, get ready for fast-paced action under lights, rising talent, and development!
Women's State League 2026
Get your team together and compete alongside some of Victoria’s top athletes!
Alternating between Melbourne’s East and West each week, this competition brings together many of Victoria’s top athletes for a high-quality round robin competition, culminating in finals before the National Championships begin.
The competition is open to all players and provides an excellent opportunity to test yourself against some of the state's best talent. It is particularly valuable for current State Team athletes and those aspiring to represent Victoria in the future.

MELBOURNE SUMMER SLOWPITCH COMPETITION
Melbourne Softball Association provide a recreational slowpitch (modified softball) mixed-gender competition over summer daylight savings time. Teams select a preferred night (Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings) and play on that night each week. The focus is on fun, friendships and well being in an enjoyed relaxed environment.
JUNIOR WEST SOFTBALL LEAGUE
For Juniors aged 8-14, involving teams from Werribee (Hawks and Padres), and Geelong.
Rotating venue each week from Werribee (Presidents Park) and Geelong (Stead Park).

NORTH WEST SOFTBALL LEAGUE (NWSL)
The NWSL consists of teams from Northern District, Sunshine, Keilor Park, Hume.
The league caters to boys and girls, men and women of all ages. Games are played on Saturdays at alternating Associations. New players warmly welcomed! Enquiries can be sent to: northwestsoftballeague@gmail.com
SOUTH EAST METRO LEAGUE (SEMR)
SEMR have adapted to the needs of the community with the introduction of mixed ability-based divisions rather than age groups for their U16 & U18 aged players. This means all players have the ability to participate in competition that suits them best. Their U13 competition is going strong, with teams.
Junior Competition played on Friday night's, Women and Mens senior Competition on Saturday afternoon.

JUNIOR SOFTBALL CARNIVAL 2026
Junior T-Ballers and Softballers (12 & under) from across Victoria join us every year at the start of the season for a fun, action packed day of Softball in a carnival like atmosphere! Whether you have been playing for a season or two or brand new to the game, this day is for you!
Venue: Sunshine Softball Association, More Park, Ardeer
Date: Sunday 22 November 2026
- A T-Ball competition for the new younger players (U10) and the Softball competition with modified rules for the older 12U players. The day is centred around FUN, COMMUNITY & PARTICIPATION
- The Junior Carnival also provides opportunities for Coach, Umpire and Scorer development. To take advantage of this, we ask teams to bring along an experienced coach, umpire and scorer to assist and mentor your beginner coach, umpire & scorer
- Activities & prize giveaways throughout the day
- Test your skills against the Victorian State Team Players, get their autographs and grab a selfie
- Register your whole team or, if you’re an individual looking to play we can find you a team to join
- Individuals must be registered to play. If you are new to Softball and not reigstered with a club you can register with Softball Victoria at a cost of $21.57 for the day. If players go on to join a local club, this is deducted from the season fees.
