Sport and Recreation Victoria announce kids voucher program and athlete travel grants program

Two initiatives to support the growth of grassroots sports participation have been announced by Sport and Recreation Victoria: the Get Active Victoria Kids Voucher Program and the Athlete Pathway Travel Grants Program, and both are now open for applications.

The Get Active Victoria Kids Voucher Program is all about helping eligible families get their kids involved in organised sport and active recreation.

Eligible children may receive up to $200 to cover the costs for membership and registration fees.

The Athlete Pathway Travel Grants Program assists Victorian athletes, teams, coaches and officials to advance and improve in their sport.

Grants are available towards the costs of travel, accommodation and event registration fees.

Funding is only available for events taking place between:

21 March 2023 and before 21 November 2023.
