BRYCE PILCHER - HALL OF FAME

In 1993, represented Victoria in the U16 Boys team at the Arthur Allsopp Shield, followed by selection in 1994 for the Victoria U19 Men’s team competing in the Nox Bailey Shield. From 1995 to 1998, and again from 2001 to 2013, proudly represented Victoria in the Open Men’s team at the John Reid Shield, demonstrating a long-standing commitment and contribution to high-level state softball.
Bryce’s outstanding contributions to Victorian softball - both as an athlete and as a dedicated representative of the sport have left an enduring legacy, making him a highly deserving candidate for this prestigious recognition.
Bryce’s softball journey began with the Werribee Softball Association before he transitioned to the Sunshine Softball Association, where he continued to develop and refine his game. From an early age, he demonstrated exceptional talent, commitment, and passion for softball, quickly emerging as one of Victoria’s most promising young athletes.
His decorated career includes numerous appearances on the national stage, representing Victoria across multiple age groups and divisions. Bryce's representative journey began in 1993 when he competed in the Arthur Allsopp Shield for U16 Boys. The following year, he advanced to the U19 Men’s team for the Nox Bailey Shield, reflecting his rapid development and adaptability in the sport.
From 1995 to 1998, and again from 2001 to 2013, Bryce represented Victoria in the John Reid Shield for Open Men. His consistent selection over such an extended period is a testament to his sustained excellence, elite performance, and resilience at the highest level of competition. Competing at the Open Men’s level for more than a decade, Bryce demonstrated remarkable endurance, fitness, and the ability to evolve with the sport, remaining a key contributor to every team he was part of.
